Frequently asked questions
Everything you might want to know about NeLocker. Still stuck? Email support@nelocker.com.
What is NeLocker?
NeLocker is the largest library of free AI prompts — for every model (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and more), with plain-English guides on how to use each one. Everything is free for everyone; the project is community-supported.
How much does NeLocker cost?
It's free. Every prompt, for everyone, with no signup. NeLocker is community-supported — an optional $5, $10, $15, $25, or $50/month keeps it free and ad-free and earns you a brick on the Supporters Wall. Cancel anytime.
Do the prompts work with ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini?
Yes. The prompts are designed to work with any modern AI model — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and others. Many are organized by tool, and our guides explain how to get the best from each model.
Do I need to be technical or know how to prompt?
No. NeLocker is built for everyday people. Every prompt comes with what it does and how to use it, and we have free guides — including a simple framework for writing your own great prompts.
Where do the prompts come from? Are they legal to use?
Every prompt is either written originally by NeLocker, in the public domain (CC0), or openly licensed (MIT) with attribution preserved. We deliberately exclude leaked or proprietary prompts. See our Licenses page for the full list.
Is there a paid version?
No paywall — everyone can browse and copy every prompt, free. Supporters don't unlock anything extra; they keep NeLocker free for everyone and get a brick on the Supporters Wall plus supporter status.
Can I cancel my support anytime?
Yes. Support is a monthly subscription you can cancel anytime. Monthly payments are generally non-refundable, but we'll always work with you in good faith — and the prompts stay free for you regardless.
Is my data private?
Yes. We collect only what's needed to run the service, never sell your data, and follow GDPR and CCPA. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never store your card details. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
What is 'Prompt of the Day'?
Every day NeLocker publishes a fresh, ready-to-use AI prompt for a different model. They're free to copy, and the archive grows into a library of its own over time.
Which AI model should I use?
It depends on the job. Claude is excellent for writing and reasoning, ChatGPT is a versatile all-rounder, and Gemini is strong for Google-connected research. For images, Midjourney is artistic and Nano Banana is great for photo edits. Our comparison page breaks it down.
